Coming of Age Day

January 9 is Coming of Age Day. I woke up at 5:00 am. I was very very sleepy. I seldome do getting up early. Then I went to "Bridal Miyuki." There is Heisei town. First, I dressed up. My long-sleeved kimono is pink. This is what Bekky designed. She is talent. You are sure to know her. So this long-sleeved kimono is very fancy and bright. I like it!



Next, I went to beauty salon. This beauty salon is near by my house. The beautician made it up for me. My hair style is up style. I like this hairstyle. I will almost cut my hair. So the last lomg hair. I want to cut my hair!!






After that, I went to Uto Shimin hall. There is Coming of Age ceremony was done. There were many come of age people. I went to there my friends. My friends are very beautiful and cute! Everyone seemed to be an adult. I took amny picture with my friends. I was very happy! Then I went to the Uto City to take Print Club. We were able to take it colorfully. Everyone is very beautiful.






At night, I went to junior high school's almuni association. Everyone had not changed so much. I was relief. The almuni association was very interesting! Almost people were working. I was surprised. I think that I will do my best from now on. There was a friend who was not able to join in Coming of Age ceremony with us, too. Because, one friend died three years ago. Another friend died two years ago. I was very sad. I want to meet theirs again. But I can't meet theirs. I want to drink with. But I can't drink with... Coming of Age Day is there was sadness about gladness on too. So we should live hard from now on.


Coming of Age Day was very happy day! I want to meet everyone sometime! Thank you my friends! I love my friends!

Essay 2-3b:My happy university student life

I am going tell you about my university life. I am university student now. I go to Kumamoto gakuen university. I belong to Eibei gakka. So I study English. It is very difficult for me, but I like English. I study different English skill. Then I meet many friends everyday. I like meeting theirs. I talk many things with my friends. I am going to tell you about my happy University student life!!

I almost study four skills. It is reading, speaking, writing and listening. There are very important for me. I like study speaking and writing. Speaking is very interesting. Speaking class is talking English about various them theme with every classmate. It is always speak only English. Then some students are interview to classmate. We also do presentation. Everyone make different theme presentation. Every group's presentation is very interesting and wonderful! I like listening and watching every presentation.

Next, writing class use computer every time. We almost study at the blog, typing, book review, essay and diary. We must post them five a week. It is tired for me, but I should do homework. The typing has to post my blog at different theme. Then we must send my homework e-mail for teacher. We must time the speed of my typing. I do not like typing speed homework, because my typing is slowly. The book review is difficult. We must read an English book once a week. I like read an English book, but I read book that is very easy story. Really, I must read a difficult English book. I am trying it! I don’t choose English book but my favorite English book is cute and fantasy story. The essay must write many words. It is difficult for me. The essay usual writes quick post, outline, mind map and essays. I must write many things, but I can study English very much.

I am poor at reading and listening. I feel most difficult is Reading. Reading is read English newspapers. I almost read a "Daily Yomiuri." This newspaper make Japan news, so it is read easy, but I do not like read a newspaper. I do not know in the world news. I must search news. I am sometime watch TV news. There happen accident in the world. I must watch it. Then English newspaper is very difficult how to read. I must remember how to read English newspaper, so I am studying it now.

Next, I am poor at listening. Listening class make some group. So every group must answer to the teacher's questions. It is very difficult. Listening is very fast. I can't listen some words. We watch video every class. We often say it "Sabina." Main character's name of this video is "Sabina." It is keeping story now. I am interested in this story, but this video is not caption and not dubbing. That is say only English. Then every cast speak English is very fast. I can't listen their conversation. I listen their English very hard. So I am poor at listening. However, I like talk with my group. So I can do my best.

I am taking optional elective subjects. For example, I take biology, law and Christian introduction. It is difficult but there are important for me.

I am trying some examination. I want to work at Travel Company. So I take "travel business and management responsible" and "TOEIC." "Travel business and management responsible" is difficult take the quality. Successful applicant is below thirty percent every year. But I can't give up. I study hard it. The result, I was drop, but I try again next year. Almost people take the TOEIC. TOEIC is difficult test, but I need it. We must take examination. My score is not high yet. So I study hard English. I want to up my English skill.

I also like talking with my friends. I talk with my friends everyday. I often talk in classroom and restaurant. I am not tired of talking with my friends. I often talk normal life. For example, we talk our part-rime job, friends, study, love and TV star etc. Recently, I often talk about part-time jobs and TV star. Feeling over our talk run high. I can depend on my friends. My friends are very kind. There listen to my worry. I am happy. So I like my friends. Then we can help each other.

Finally, I am happy everyday. I like go to university, meet friends and go to part-time. I am study English from now on. I want to do overcome my poor subject. Then my good subject wants to develop from now on. I am second grade, so I have to a lot of study. My favorite university life memory is talk to my friends and study English. I make many memories with my friends. I do not regret for four years. I want to enjoy university life. I wish every student can spend on enjoy university life.

New year’s resolution is study in English and I do my best job hunting. I want to do up to my English skills. Then I want to speak to foreign people. I want to try various capacities. For example, I want to take Eiken, TOEIC and secretary examination and about travel examination.

BR 2-18: King Donkey Ears

I read “King Donkey Ears.”

This story is about a king, Meg, a servant, the king’s best friend, a tree, a woodcutter and a harp.
There was once a king with a big secret. He didn’t even tell his best friend. Every month, the king had a hair cut. Then he sent the servant to prison. In July, it was Meg’s turn. Meg saw the king’s ears. She was shocked, but she didn’t say.

That night, it was all Meg could think about. She had to tell. At last, she had an idea. She wouldn’t tell anyone. She’d tell a tree. So she did. Now Meg felt much better. Later, a woodcutter chopped down the tree. The tree became a harp. One day, the king gave a huge concert. But the new harp played a very strange tune. The harp has been spilt secret. So the king freed all the servants. And he learned to love his ears. .

I think that it is not shameful that my secret is taken to pieces. But I am also find it’s mind. I have secret too.
My favorite line “he learned to love his ears.” (Lesley, 2009, p.25) It is important to love my fault. I learned it. I am also important to love my fault.

BR 2-17: The Baobab Tree

I read “The Baobab Tree.”

This story is about a talking tree and some angry African gods.
One day, they made a talking tree. They called it the Baobab tree. The Baobab tree talked a lot. The gods grew a forest of tall trees. The Baobab tree was fed up. The gods made trees with flowers. Then the gods made trees that grew fruit. But Baobab not fruit and flowers. They grabbed the Baobab tree and turned it upside down. His head was in the ground. He couldn’t open his mouth to talk. No one has ever heard the Baobab tree say another word.

I think that Baobab is very poor. I am sad. I wanted you to make the flower bloom in Baobab. I am not my favorite line. It’s story is sad too.

BR 2-16: The RUNAWAY PANCAKE

I read "The Runaway Pancake."
There was once a family with seven children, and they were always hungry. One day, their mother decided to make pancakes for breakfast. Then she poured the mix into a pan to cook. She tossed the first pancake, up in the air and down again. But the pancake didn't want to be eaten. It jumped right out of the pan and rolled out of the door. The pancake rolled out of the gate and into the road, faster and faster.

The pancake run about trying to escape. He becomes possible for them to eat by meeting various animals. It landed at the edge of a forest. By the forest was a pig in a pen. Now the pig wanted to eat the pancake too, but he was too clever to say so. "What's the hurry, Mr. Pancake?" he asked. "Let me walk through the dangerous place." The pancake looked into the forest. Maybe the pig was right. "Quickly!" he gasped. "Don't let them catch me!" "Who?" asked the pig. "THEM!" said the pancake. "The fox, the goat, the cat, the duck, the rabbit, the dog and all the family." The pig pretended not to hear it. The pancake jumped over the fence and into the pen. Then the pancake began to speak. But before he could shout any more, the pig snapped him up and swallowed him in one gulp...


I thought that I might do this if there were feelings also in food. I do not want to be able also to eat. Do you think so? My favorite line is the pancake said "I SAID, DON'T THEM CATCH ME!" (Mairi 2006 p.41) Feelings of the pancake have been transmitted. But final is very sad... I do not think the pig eat the pancake.
